What do I have to do, to get some 31 X14.5X15 on some 15X13 inch wheels to fit on my 66 Chevelle.?

If you want them to fit under the fenders, then you have to back half the car. If they don't have to fit under the fenders, just jack up the backend a lot.

Any frame mods? can I keep stock style suspension or would i have to do a 4-link or ladder bars?

That's what a back half is. You can't put 10# of crap in a 5# bag. The frame rails would have to be brought in and a new suspension installed. A lot of work for a beginner. If you can't get the right offset wheels, then the rearend might have to be shortened too. It'a major project for a couple inches of rubber. You can put 295/60-15s on 10" wheels with 5.5" backspacing witout the hassle. Heck with a little inner fender massaging you can get 325s in there.:thumbsup:

James. You will need all this to put those wheels on your velle.
Not a cheap endeavor. Around here, Getting a car backhalfed runs around $6K

hmm, well that is the biggest tire you can have to compete in the pump gas drags. I don't know what I want out of the car, but I would like to participate in that event.

Some people say back-half a car and they only mean tubbing the rear, well around here they do. thanks for answering my questions.
