SS396 Convert

Building a L89 engine and need the stock appearing GM aluminum heads.....ideally closed chamber for 69-70 years.....I don't care about being date or numbers correct......just correct appearing......
Anyone know about something that would still be available thru GM or??????? :confused: Thanks

The 074 is the wrong head but with the price you must pay for even the later over the counter closed chamber heads they look a lot better.

During our club meeting at BillK's shop, he said that today's alloys are much better than those of that era, I would go with some modern alloys to take advantage of the technology. Just my opinion.

I agree 100% with the technology, it's just that I'm putting together a L89 and the heads are the key to the package.......
