I have a 64 malibu that I just put a 600 HP 350 engine and b&m TH400 with a 3500-4000 stall converter into. I still have the stock 10 bolt rear with freeway gears and no pos. I have a set of 410 gears for it that I got from a friend. I know that I need to get a heavy duty 12 bolt but I am short on funds. What do you think of slapping on the 410 gears and buy a spool until I canb scrounge up the funds. Would it last more than a day? I dont drive it alot these days, Work and all.

Depends on your tires ability to Hook-up. Probably just cook street tires,slicks may cost ya a rear.
