What do you guys think of this one, seems like a good deal even with no engine or trans. If its still around by the weekend I was gonna call the guy and go scope it out. Any thoughts?

Montes just don't bring the money they should yet. Believe me, I have a '72 I need to find a home for and have been afraid to list. I don't want to find out how upside down I am with it!

That being said, a Super Sport Monte with a non-matching motor just isn't going to be worth the money you put into buying/building a 402/TH400 and adding to this car along with other restoration costs--at least for some time.

However, if the car is authentic with paperwork and you're looking for a project that you'll keep for a while it may not be a bad choice.

Good luck!
