The info from your cowl tag reveals that you have a 1969 Malibu, V-8, 2-door hardtop, built during the third week of January, 1969, in Baltimore. It was originally Bright Blue Metallic in color. The 753 is the interior code, but I do not know what the translation is.
The factory warranty card will give you more info as well. Post the numbers here and someone will be able to help.
Go back and spend some time navigating this site from the home page, and you will find some very helpful restoration info, tips and hints.
Also, the search feature in the Tech section will yield more info than you may even want to read:thumbsup:

I have a question for you on your car.Is it supposed to be a ss or is it a malibu. My car seems to have basically the same tag as yours and in a previous post someone told me that the bl could be a designation for a ss car.I have 12 bolt, disc brakes, the supports by the uppercontrol arms that people say is a ss and 3/8 fuel line. This is a mystery..
