I have been thinking of upgrading my 'Velle to the new ATX spindles for improved suspension geometry. With that I am thinking about upgrading my a-arms from the 38 year old steel to something a little more beefy as I like to corner my car. My question is this...If I get the ATX spindles, what Ball-Joint tapers should I get. The options are stock or B-body. I would really like to keep my vehicle with stock stuff as much as possible to avoid the confusion of what part from what year of vehicle to get in the future when replacing parts.
So...if I get ATX spindles with stock ball-joint tapers and stock steering arm tapers will this cause a problem in the future with a-arm upgrades? For example...what ball joints are the GW and/or the SC&C a-arms designed for?
I also am fully aware of and understand the discussions regarding proper suspension geometry, etc. I am really not interested in getting into that whole debate in this thread. I would just appreciate a thoughtful response to my question.
Thanks,
