Heck I never new they came with a cable. All the Chevelles I have owned had the linkage rods. I just changed this last one from an auto on the column with a bench seat to buckets with an original auto console and I had a heck of a time finding the bracket to swap on the side of the transmission. Anyways good luck on the project.

I have the exact 67 PG to R4 shiftworks conversion template your looking for. It's just a 8.5x11 with a couple of black dots on it that the directions says to remove all in black. Looks to be a HUGE hole to me for just a freeking cable!!! I havent cut the floor yet so I can't offer much in the way of do or don't. PM me your e-mail address and I'll scan the template and forward it to you. I'll have to sketch a scale on it to be sure it doesn't 'shrink' in the scan, transmit or print (Scans do that sometimes)
