Marxx Sep 3rd, 07, 12:35 PM I have a 1978 GM Targetmaster 350 block with 4 bolt mains made in Flint Michigan not Mexico. 010 nickel content in the block, standard bore and in great condition. Is this block strong enough to build a 383 stroker? I've read mixed opinions online so I thought i'd ask the pros on this site.... Mike Sep 3rd, 07, 1:29 PM Don't see any reason you can't. It's just .030 overbore and some clearance for the rod bolts on the bottom end. What's the block casting number?
