Headed up to Granite Falls, took some windy twisty's over to Arlington, had Milkshakes at "The Fountain"- made a quick pitstop at Senior Berg's hot rod shop, got to checkout the mostly full Berg collection, including his 55 chevy which his Dad-in law returned. We also got to watch him fight with his starter on the Nova... Anyway... A good 3 hour tour with only a few small Exhibitions of speed along the way (chewed up and spat my buddies GTO out my tailpipe!) :D

Anyway, just thought i'd share

Looks like a good time. I got most of my stuff loaded up and over here late last night. Headed back in a couple minutes to bring my '66 over and clean up the place. Sorry I missed out on this one. Have a good day at the in-laws.

Hey Ben,,,, Your car sounded great when you left. GTO gave it a shot too but fell on it's face on attempt,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,needs a little tuning. Tell your buddies their rigs are sweet. Wish I could have joined the convoy buy a little pre occupied.

Nova starter has been replaced. Didn't even throw anything when I got pissed at the started but really, REALLY close!

Ben,

Nice pics, thanks for posting them.
That GTO has some SWEET wheels! I think mine like that have something called "Never Shine-up" on them! GOTAGO's mini Power Ball helped but I'll either relegate mine to mounting of DRs or slicks or just get new wheels.

I cleaned the garage (YIKES!) and worked on the laundry room cabinets.
I have a nice pile of stuff to take to Arlington.

George, I know somewhere on this site there is a thread that says step by step how to shine those wheels like new. It includes proof(pictures) wish I knew what I searched for to find it though.

I'll look for it, thanks!
I saw one series, popsickle sticks and emery cloth...valve covers I think.
Now that I'm "retired" again.....perhaps some polishing.
The MiniBall did wonders...just I need a ThermoNuclearBall to get these things shining.
