This morning I was working on finding my oil leak, so i had the front of the 'velle up on ramps and had it running for about 5 minutes or so to find the leak.

After that, i pulled the passenger header to fix my blown header gasket. Then i re-assembled everything.

Now, it chuggs, lopes more than normal, and when i test drive it down the street, it misses horribly and might even pop once or twice.

After searching posts here, i checked my firing order 5 or 6 times, and even pulled each plug separately to try and find out whats wrong!

It was running fine before i pulled the front up on the ramps. Could it be that the nose up and running left the front of the block without enough oil?????? I'm at my end.

Running it nose up is a good thing, the sump is in the back. I'd check the firing order/wiring again.

Well, I finally figure it out graemlins/clonk.gif

Number 2 boot previously melted itself to the header, when i pulled it off today, it left some of the boot on the collector. When i put it back on, the bare wire was too close to the header, and Zap, problem.

So, i just moved the bare spot away from any metal, and i'll replace the boot tomarow.

Thanks guys...i need to get a tatoo of Keep It Simple Stupid on my fore-head.
