I'm looking at this kit, but was wondering if anyone had used this vette brake upgrade with american racing torq thrust m's.
I know they have templates to use, but I haven't ordered my wheels yet. I've contact american racing, but no response. thx

17s are a minimum with C5s, but there is also an issue with spoke clearance, as the calipers stick out farther than the wheel mounting surface... I had to run 1/2" spacers with my Billet Specialties 17s, and they're still close to the spokes.

So would you suggest going with an 18" wheel and spacer then Where is a good place to get a spacer? And what length wheel studs are you using? thx

I ran Vintage Wheel Works V40s, and I only had to use 5/32" spacer... as Derek mentioned, the spokes were close to the caliper. Mine "might" have cleared without the spacer, but VERY close, and I didn't want to scratch the calipers just checking clearances...
Mine actually was a small lip in the center section (2 piece wheel), and not really the spokes themselves...
Anyway, I guess it really doesn't help you with your wheel of choice...
I used the Kore3 setup on my '66 convertible, and IMO, an excellent product with excellent customer service at a nice price...
