Hey Guys, Will there be machining required for the 215 heads with aftermarket springs? If I go dual springs? Does anybody make a spring that fits in the old pocket of the old head? Also, If I deck the block to O will I have problems with my .100 dome pistons and 215 heads. Thanks

Stacey,I have the .100 domed pistons in my 454..my block was decked on a previous rebuild (before me) and my pistons are approx. .008-.010 down in the bore.I also have #215 heads.
I also run a Crane spring/retainer kit which requires no machining and are good to .575 lift.
