Hey, I was just wondering how important it is to have the travel stops adjusted correctly on a competition plus shifter. I did a mockup assembly on my son's T10 tonight and can't seem to find the right combination of parts to make this thing work right. I've got the high mount for the shifter and the good straight heavy shift rods and a good selection of shift arms. the thing shifts good but the length of travel is slightly different between 1&2 vs. 3&4 so tuning the stops exactly is impossible. Although I know it would work just fine the way it is if driven easy but that's no fun and I don't want to break any shift forks. I also tried a new complete install kit without any differences. Any suggestions before I fab my own length shift arms?
