Can you please give me your input on ebay item# 280146358042. I see a few things wrong including the brake booster but I'm not up on the 69's. I don't mind it being a three speed knowing that that was the standard transmission but does everthing else look legit? I think the price looks right if it is what its presented to be. Thanks.

I'll point out some things here Troy. These are just a few itmes I noticed from a quick review.

- Exhaust exit.
- Fender hole.
- Fender SS emblems.
- Rear panel painted body colour.
- Master Cylinder.
- Number of minor items under the hood.

I won't get into the usual debate as to "is it a true SS" as I'm sure you're aware of such things and will do your homework. Hope this helps a bit.

No expert here, but have looked at a bunch. Always wondered why someone would go to the trouble to hunt down and buy the Malibu hockey stick trim when they could buy the SS trim. :confused:

Definitely a Malibu fender. Looks like a Bendix brake booster.

"If it looks too good to be true..." Seems to be enough questions whether it's a "real" SS, but that's not to say it's a bad car. Could be a good pick-up and be a blast to own. It's already got a great color!

have him send you a pic of the rag joint bb and sb are different

easy enough to find a vin stamp on the engine and trans, and find the code and casting date on the rearend. I still wouldn't pay a whole buncha money for a car without seeing it in person.

possibly a malibu fender.the hole is for the r. hand hardware behind the engine designation.
