I've got a TH400 in the Chevelle that I bought brand new from ATI. It's been leaking since I put it in and I'm having trouble finding where at. I believe it may be the shift selector where your cable bolts up to? I believe it's coming out of there and dripping off the pan bolts, only the drivers side is wet. Is this a common place for them to leak?

My header collector is only about an 1/8" away from this selector. Is there any way that my headers could be rubbing this every now and then?

Also, how do I take this apart, I believe there is an O-Ring right there??? I'm putting in my Quarterstick so this is the perfect time to fix this! Any ideas on what else it could be or help on changing this o-ring?

Thanks, sorry so long.

Matt

I had a leak on the drivers side, it turned out to be the speedo cable assembly. A new o-ring solved it.

Thanks guys, it does kind of look like a little is coming from the speedo cable, I didn't know there was an o-ring in there. Thanks alot,
