: New wiring - radio connector does not insert in stock radio

Just got my Chevelle back from the shop. Total restore has been completed. We replaced all the wiring with new wiring harnesses. Installed an original 1969 AM radio (car is stock). The wiring harness has a radio connection but it seems to have a "hump" or ridge in the middle of the plastic connection at the top. So, when I try to plug it into the back of the radio the hump or ridge at top of the radio connector does not seat since the radio does not have a insert area for the ridge (square on the radio side). Anyone else experience this? I am not sure where we got the harness, was through Ground Up or other same type place. I can trim the ridge down but just wondering if anyone has this experience with this. Thanks as always.

Sometimes there are intermediate harnesses to adapt to front/rear speakers, stereos...
Do you have your original harness to verify against?
