I have a 1969 El Camino. I want to remove the vent windows on both sides and replace it with just 1 glass in my door. Has anybody tried this?

Well this might be a stupid question, but could I get a pair of chevelle doors to eliminate the need for vent windows?

Chevelle doors would bolt up ok, you would need the weatherstrip channel as well as custom made upper door weatherstrips. I would be interested to see that.

Just one question. I know everyone has different tastes, but why in the world would you want to do away with the wing glass.To me that would look completely funky.

So you are saying if I cut off the top part of my El Camino doors and weld them to the Chevelle doors it would work?

NOPE, the angles are different.

The rear angle of the glass is completley different.
