I have a 750 holley vs on my other car which is a milder motor and it runs great. The other choice i was thinking was a holley 650 DP. This car will only be driven occasionally on the street and mostly for fun seat of the pants feel. Im open to suggestions since ive only experienced my 750 holley vs

others seem to like VS carbs, but I switched from a 750VS to a 650DP on my 408BB and I felt a noticable "seat of the pants" difference. I'm still trying to get to the track to see if it really IS faster.

Do you mean the XE274???

For seat of the pants you are not going to beat a DP.

For track performance your engine with a 650DP is going to be under carbed.

Is this a manual or auto car? If its auto what kinda converter are you running? I'd go with 750 Holley or Demon mechanical secondary unless you don't have a good converter.

I will be running a good converter in the range of 2500.

750 vacuum carb will be best IMHO and experience
My car picked up 1.5 MPH/.10 in the quarter changing from a double pumper to a 3310
And guess what, thar car felt faster with the double pumper, but timeslips don't lie.

the car will probbaly be used for street only for fun. Just looking for light to light performance.
