Posting here as well.

A freind of mine has a plating shop and is willing to replate my booster for me and my brake caliper brackets. Years ago I disassembled a booster to get it chrome plated. I recall lightly taping the tabs with a hammer and screw driver evenly all around and it worked. Does any body here have any other tips on doing this carefully? And also same on the assembly.

Thks

Rich if you have an old master cly or if you are taking it off with master leave the mounting brackets on, clamp master in vise using a big bar in the brackets twist it loose. It should come this way remember these have a spring inside.Remove the parts you are not going to plate,(master,brackets,ect)...FRED
