I hear the terms 350 and 350 BOP. Can anyone tell me the difference?changed a powerglide to a 350 turbo in my 64 impala which was supposed to be a bolt in deal. It was after shortening the drive line and changing the yoke. thanks

The 64 powerglides are a bit shorter than a regular 350, the output shaft also has a coarse spline on the old powerglide. The newer powerglides are a direct bolt in though.

A regular 350 is the Chevy bolt pattern, the BOP stands for Buick, Olds, and Pontiac bolt pattern.
