Alright, I have a 454, and my friend was following me home the other day. I jumped on it at about 2200-2800 RPMs and he said blue smoke came out of both pipes. I asked him if he was sure it was blue, he said yes, blue.
Now, it hasnt had any oil consumption problems, and Ive never seen any burnt oil out of the pipes. I just had new reducers welded in for the new headers, and that is it.
Any thoughts on what this could be? It doesnt emmit smoke at any other RPM that I notice, and it sees regular trips to 6000.

As i understand,if theres smoke during acceleration the rings would be the problem.If it smokes during deacceleration , the valveseals could be bad..
