This question is for those running Merlin heads on their big blocks. What brand/size headers are you using? I have 1 3/4" Hedman long tubes and have no clearance on the #3 and 5 spark plugs and I keep burning boots. I don't want to "massage" my headers but I may have to. Thanks.

Im using the Hooker competitions but im using angled boots anyway for maz clearance.

I have Hedman 1-3/4" Elite on mine with no clearance issues at all.

I use a 90 degree boot on #3 and a 45 degree boot on #5(barely clears header). You may look @ those heat resistant "socks" that cover the boots.I also had to make a special socket to remove and reinstall #3 plug.

I have the hedmans, 1 3/4", for a 72 Chevelle. I had to beat the ever loving **** out of them to just get the spark plug started! graemlins/angry.gif
