Has anyone installed these on a Chevelle? Did it clear the floor pan and crossmember without tweaking? TIA

Anyone try these? If so did you have to tweak the head pipes to get them to fit?

I have the original Dr Gas 3 inch x-pipe
a little trimming is needed based on your headers
I have a 427 bb with 3 in collectors. I run this into 3 inch hooker aero chambers and 2.5 inch tails. no clearance problems. this is on a 67 chevelle :D

Lerchman, thanks for the reply. The head pipes in the universal kit are straight, and I'm not sure if they will cause interference under the car. I don't mind trimming, but I don't have a way to bend or tweak the pipes. Were the pipes on your Dr. Gas kit straight, or were they pre-bent to clear the floor, crosmember, braces, etc.? Wes

the x is pre-welded and the pipes have bends already you just have to trim to your application. check out dr gas.com smile.gif
