Well hit lvd's test and tune with bettering best of old 11.97 113.8MPH! Last run resulted in 11.86 at 113.7 with difference of launching at 5500 instead of old 5000 and short shifting 1st to 2nd 6500 instead of 7000! Not sure how much is left in the 9.8:1 327! Next week can we hit 11.79 with timing and jetting adjustments???? 60 FOOTERS were 1.64 to 1.66 on 5 runs.When car has tire spin it runs 330 at 4.86 and 7.56 1/8 mile. 3 weeks ago car dead hooked and bogged and slowed to 5.0's on 330ft. Did granny shifting all day but tried power shifting 3 weeks ago with missed 3rd gear so gave that up quick as i figure synchros might be eaten up quick!!!

Heads are old twisted wedge with intake runner at 184 cc ported to 254 at .500 at 28" . Cam is UD 276/284 f6 243/251 at .050 106 lsa in at 101! 750 mech 4779 over 1"4 hole on 1" open with victor junior! 1.75 x 3.0 super comp headers with 2.5 dynomax turbos which are left on. 5speed richmond with 3.27 1st using only 4 gears and 4.10 rear trapping at 7200 with 27x10.5 QTP hoosiers.

Have a chance to try a friends HP 950 holley carb! I heard venturi size is same as my current 4779 750. Assuming this would maintain same velocity. Any opinions if i could better my last weeks 11.86 113.7 mph run with this HP 950 on my 9.8:1 5 speed 327? Also thinking of dropping the 2.5" dynomax super turbo exhaust and seeing if there is any E.T. there!Trap rpm is 7200. Any opinions or info on this is appreciated as always! thanks much, AL
