hey all...nother post, i would like to know about how much a stock Big Block, power steering, power brake, and a/c would weigh in at, about the heaviest and the lightest...trying to figure out how much fat i have trimmed off her.

In that case..
Anywhere from 3600-4000 are common #'s. Mine is a 70 454 w/ alum heads and automatic 3860# w/o driver. I don't make attempts to cut down weight though, so spare tire, etc, are all there.
I got mine done at a truck scale for six bucks, they also gave me a breakdown of front/rear weight (56/44)%. Gravel pits and other places that weigh vehicles may too.
Probably not as accurate as the 4 wheel weights, but..
Iron headed, automatic, BB, 71 with buckets and a console is gonna be around 3850 give or take some. I have the GM documentation somewhere, but I think thats the stated #.
