Ok, i just found out that my 327 originally produced 275 HP. I am no where near a dyno, so i was wondering if you guys could give me a ball park estimate of what my HP is. Here is what the motor is:
its been bored 30 over, stock heads, stock shortblock (rebuilt w/ stock replacemnt parts but w/ a slightly more aggresive cam that isn't very noticeable, not sure what cam) hooker comp headers, 2.5in pipe w/ H-pipe through dual 40 series flows, Msd 6A ign box, Blaster 2 coil, MSD Pro-billit disrib, Edlbrk RPM Airgap intake, 1in carb spacer, 650 BG Speed demon VE, K&N air filter.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do w/ HP but it also has a Stock Th350 (not sure of stall), 12bolt eaton posi(3.90 gears)

Any help would be great. People always ask me how many horses it has, and i always reply with "Never enough", but in all actuality i have no idea  ! I would like to get a ball park figure just for my own peace of mind, thanks - eric

its hard to tell...A lot of factory small blocks came with shim head gaskets..if you used a composite you could of lowered the CR some...I would guess 25-30 more horses though..although..the HP raitings were different back then..that 275 in 69 was equal to 220 in 78

With headers, alm intake, and a little more cam that 275 er should easily be in the 300-320+ hp range which should feel real good with those 3:90 gears your running.
