It seem's to be a great deal, a 4:1 reduction Mini starter, that's clockable. And it was only $101.00 delivered to the door.

Is that a D&B Unit? If so, it will work as good as it looks. Mine really sings.

Will that cure my hot soak/labored cranking problem so common with BB & headers?

It should, that's what they say. The best hot start solution, is too start with the biggest Battery You can get.

900 plus CCA and it can have a busted started nose and probalby still turn over. If you run a standard battery with any warmed over BB you WILL have started problems.
I run stock GM starters and never have starter problems when I run a high amp battery. Throw a type 74, 650 CCA battery in it and I'll be stranded anywhere I park and shut it off.

I have a stock GM starter and a 900 cca battery. It hasn't stranded me yet but on a hot day after driving for a while (motor never gets above 200 degrees), if I try to restart after a being off for a few minutes, it cranks over like I have 13.5 compression! If it cools for a while, spins over very easily.
