My Torque Converter cracked at the neck along the weld and sprays generously all over my exhaust.
I just bought it last year but warranty is only good for 90 days. It's a TCI or Transmision Specialtys.
stalls at 3,200 so it takes a pounding at least 12 times when the car gets taken out plus a few runs at the track but only on street trim. I have put rouphly 700 miles on this part.
The shop I bought it from is paying the shiping to send it to a shop that fixes them and will be rewelded and checked. It will cost 150$ Canadian.
Was wondering if there could be something not right with my transmision wich was rebuilt the same time I installed the torque converter or something on the flywheel end of it. Maybe theres something I need check and make sure is right ?
Any Ideas would be great
Thnx alot everyone-------Lance
