Ever since i put the 4bbl on my car, when i drive it like around town, it doesn't seem like it shifts untill the last second! I don't have a tach on it so i can't say when it is shifting but i know it's off because it sounds like i'm driving at about 3500 rpm's? Any ideas? Maybe linked to the detent cable? Oh, it's a 350 eng. and th350 trans. Thanks!

Did you hook up the modulator vacuum line? or...did it fall off the modulator while changing carbs?

its a vacuum control valve. The vacuum line connects to the carb/intake manifold. It is usually hard line with a short piece of vacuum line. It goes from the carb to to a round do hickey on the side of the tranny
