I also did a search on the topic, and another member states you won't be able to attach the Barrel clips with the Fender installed without chipping the paint. He recommends double sided tape application.


Don't drill holes. Cut the pins off and use emblem tape like this to apply them.

You can't put the factory type barrell clips in without chipping the paint, and the tape keeps dirt from getting behind there to hold moisture. Just stick it on the emblem, then trim it with a razor blade, the peel the other side and stick it. Use alcohol to clean the fender before you stick it on.
It works great, and it's on there to stay!
