Hi guys was wondering if anyone has had their tach stick. Mine is the stock tach and is stuck on 6500 rpm. Anyone have that happen to them? How can it be fixed? Thanks Steve

How did it get there? Most likely you will have to remove the tach and have it repaired.

if it was working fine ...& then just stuck....the tach meter (guts) is probably shot....read as expensive repair:(

Try taking a magnet and to move the needle. It may have some debree in the movement. I have repaired several tachs that had debree in the movement. Since yours is stuck in an area that you probably don't go very often you may be able to move it away from the debree with the magnet.
