Today I finally put in my Summit x pipe,Hooker Aerochambers and Flowmaster 3" tails.Pretty easy install overall, fits good too.I've got it clamped in for now, going to weld it up this week or weekend sometime I guess.Haven't driven it anywhere yet,not sure I like the sound yet either.I like the dumped 3" Flowmasters but getting tired of the noise inside the car. It's not a whole lot quieter, but it's a real different sound.Would have been done sooner but got called on an emergency call at 3.I'll try to post a pic. after I weld it up.

An X pipe definitely changes the sound, and not necessarily for the better. I made one for mine and will be going back to straight duals with an H pipe. Better decide if you like it before welding it in.

I'm not sure if it's the x or the Hookers, also just had it idling .Going to drive it around some but I'm going to go ahead and weld it,I don't like driving around with clamped up exhaust, lost a Flowmaster a long time ago that way.Plus I've got cuttin' stuff that's fun to use :D

Agreed. The x-pipe definitely changed the sound on my 3" Borla exhaust to a "whoosh" instead of a "bwap". Lots of people asking what kind of exhaust it is.
