Every motor with respond differently .....at Dyno to-day my motor showed no gain with 1" 4 hole HVH Super Sucker Spacer on my RPM Airgap but that does not mean it won't on your package

rcatala, not exactly but close, I'll be able to tell you if a 1" HVH 4 hole to open spacer is worth anything on a regular RPM. I'll be on the dyno Saturday.

cdn ss, beautiful engine. Are you not going to run any breathers on those valve covers?

Purs .... Thanks, I was on Dyno to-day with it graemlins/hurray.gif

Breather on driver side cover and a breather in lifter valley vented out back of block to header

I just recived an email from the seller of this spacer and he said "the 2" is designed for the Victor intake the 1" is for the dual plane but the biggest carb you can use with the dual and the 1" is a 830 carb., the 2"can be used with a 850 or higher carb"
He recomends if I want to get the best results from the RPM and the 2" that I should remove the intake and taper the center divider to match the spacer .

CDN SS , great looking motor ,Any dyno numbers??

Purs ,I will be waiting for your new post with good HIGH NUMBERS in the dyno this Saturday ,best of luck .

rcatala, what do you mean by taper the divider?

In the newest Chevy High Performance mag. this very question was asked about the spacer on a RPM air gap. Their response was that it actually is more likely to hurt your low end and not gain any on the high end. They state that a regular RPM can be made to run as well as a airgap simply by taking the center divider down about 1/2".

Quik ... that makes sense cause my HP did not falloff or gain but my torque came off in the mid range a bit .... I'll look for that mag Thanks for the heads up

TAPER ??, I just wrote dowm the words the spacer seller send me ,but I think it may be to get the dual plane divider thinner in the top to get the same measure as the spacer bottom end ,
I will send the seller an email to get this "taper" thing clear.

TAPER is to sharped the divider RPM intake to match the bottom of the spacer ,I confirm this with the seller ,I know he want to sell his products but the inf. he gives is interesting . :D
