okay, I haven't posted in awhile, but here's the story.
Bought a crane cam <hated it> so I pull the motor out and the car sits a year, was never happy with it and some of you might remember the problems I was having with that cam, then I bought a lunati cam
I think it was 310/315 245/255 575/600 110* got the car running ran great but smoked out the breather. I didn't have the pcv valve hooked up though so that's why I thought it was doing that. Long story short, Lifters were machined wrong and wiped out the entire cam in 20mins of 2000rpms. But, Kirk @ Lunati took care of everything for me. I had to pull the motor apart and put in new bearings, so after Lunati determined it was there fault (they changed their clip design cuz of this so don't worry), I wanted to upgrade to Roller. Kirk hooked me up big time, I payed $241 for the flat-tappet hyd cam and lifter set factory direct, so he ended up sending me the hyd roller cam, lifters and pro series pushrods for free. Threw in a tee-shirt and about 1/2 off the bronze gear drive. Now I have a full roller 498 305/315 245/255 598/612 110* Yeah it sucks that I had to pull out the motor, but I'll take 850-900 dollars worth of roller cam for a bearing set,8 hours of my labor and $241. Thanks Lunati I'll never buy from another company again! If you guys want a good man to deal with call kirk @ ext 119
