: Performance differences between these 2 cams?

I am curious about this. I have a isky 274 mega cam (226@.050, .490 lift single pattern, 108 lsa) and am curious how this would compare to something like a comp 280 magnum (230@.050, .480, 110 lsa). Not taking into effect the slightly tighter lsa. The isky cam actually measures 281@.006 seat to seat timing (this is where comp measures their cams), so what I see is a a slightly gentler lobe acceleration up to .050 compared to the 280 magnum, then a slightly increased accel rate above .050 (to get more lift with less .050 timing). Theoretically, it should have less valvetrain noise. Not taking the lsa into consideration, would the difference between these 2 cams be negligable?
