I'm getting ready to order everything I need for my vortec head swap. I'm buying LT4 springs from sdpc. Do I just need the springs and the valve spring cap kit? I've heard people talking about dampers not clearing & i'm not sure what a damper is. I also have no clue as to what type of oil seals I should run. Please fill me in on what other things I will need to order. thank you

Why not order the heads from scoggin dickey already clearanced for .525 lift? w/ Z28 springs.

The heads were passed on to me at no cost. They are 906 castings from a rollover silverado with under 50k miles
