My tail panel has rusted through where the trunk weatherstrip sits.

Has anyone replaced their rear tail panel with the reproduction panels? If so how did they fit?

Mine fit very nicely, got it from Dynacorn.

Mine fit well. That is a wierd place for a car to rust though. I was glad they started making them because it would have been a PITA to fabricate and bodywork something you hardly see.

Thanks guys. I ordered one today.

I also thought this was a very strange place for a rust through condition. Mine had pin holes in 4 different places in the trunk weatherstrip channel and also on the edge where it is tack welded to the lower portion due to a large piece of seam sealer that had came loose allowing moisture to get between the seam sealer and the panel. I sure am glad they repro this part as it would be difficult to fab.
