My 72 convertible is in the body shop with its driver side rear quarter cut off and the parts company sends a coupe panel and when i call they say they made a mistake and its on backorder.Well i find out everyone has them on back order because the manufacturer felt it was too costly to make the convrertible panels. Now im stuck with a car with no panel. What are all the parts companinies?

a guy on e-bay has convertible panels the one stamped on GM tooling they haven't made them in a year at least they are going up in value like NOS stuff.

the one on ebay is a right hand side and i need a left. He wants $1600 for the one rear full quarter. Anyone have suggestions on what to do??

A good body man shouldn't have all that much trouble using a coupe quarter.
