I got back from Reno, NV on Sunday evening and found a note on my door. A guy had stopped by, wanting to know if I wanted to buy his '78 Malibu he had been building into a drag car. Pretty wild thing is, he lives two blocks from me.

I went over and took a peek at it from behind a fence (he wasn't home). It's got some dents in the right front fender and quarter, but it's all there. It looks like the grill/lights are in fantastic shape, and the bumpers are in reasonable condition. He's got the interior out. No rust in it, that I could see. It looks like I just found me another project car. He wants $200 for it! This car actually looks like it's in better shape than my Malibu Landau. The other thing I like is that it's a regular Malibu, instead of a Landau.

I have to stop by again in a bit, when he get's home, and I'll tell you exactly what it's got. I'll snap some pic's, too.

I am on the lookout for a 78-83 roller to put my 383 I have sitting on my stand in. Got plan to make one real nice. Im on the lookout for a hardtop with buckets and PW PD & PS with a straight body. If you come across anything let me know, its needs to be cheap!

Try cruising the classified adds over at www.maliburacing.com (http://www.maliburacing.com) The have lot's of cars listed, and more coming all the time. You wouldn't be interested in either of these rollers. They're going to need lots of TLC to get where you want to go! ;)
