Please help. I have a AM/FM radio from a 69 Chevelle that has 4 wires coming out of it. These wires are (from left to right facing the side with the wires) black, yellow, green with a white trace, and black. Anyone know the connection (i.e., speakers, +, ground, etc)?

Yellow is power feed.
Black is ground.
Green is speaker.
White - speaker ? ?

What I mean by the fgreen with white chase is that the wire is green with a white stripe. Does this change anything, especially when I have two black wires? Thanks in advance.

I have done business with him and he can answer for positive.

If you check out the radio tech forum accessible from the home page of TC, it's on the left side of links when you open TC

I found a picture in radio tech that shows two grounds, a speaker, and a 12v connection for a 69 am/fm

I would assume one black is radio ground, one black is speaker ground, I doubt it make any difference what one you use, the yellow is 12v power feed, and green/white is your positive speaker
