Yours truly finally made it to the finals and brought home a check for 500.00 in No/Electronics. I've been racing full time for almost 3 years,made it to several quarter finals and semi finals,but never to the finals and win til saturday,needless to say they couldnt wipe the grin off my face running 10.11 on a 10.10 dial in with a .535 light to a losing .579 8.70/8.70 (1000ft. track) I made 10 passes all day from 10.17(first time shot) then 10.10-10.13 the rest of the day and lights were .493(time run) then .528-.578 all night long,the car was on,the driver was good enuff and I'm still smiling :D

edit: 60ft times were 1.71-1.73 all day long on BFG drag radials,last 7 passes 1.71-1.72 graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I'd love to Harold,,,but we have 3 points races left and the finals at the end of october, I'm currently 10th with 3 pretty good racers close behind,,need to solidify that 10th or better finish so I get the jacket and plaque. I may not run points next year so I can make a visit to some of the tracks in the area. Do you know Mike Wood from Tulsa?

yep...1000ft track...I usually run the last 320ft at this track in 1.9 secs. We can run 1/4 mile on street tires(bfg's) at friday night TNT only, race day for no/e is 1000ft and super pro 1/8 mile.

Too bad you can't come to the race were on the 16th Robert. This race is going to be Saturday evening with the gates opening at 5 P.M. and the first round of qualifing at 7 P.M. for the shootout cars. Were hoping to run some high eights. I bought some new tires yesterday and we are going to try a couple of new things that should get us 2-3 tenths. We're supposed to get the rest of the cage (front loop and downlegs) in today or tomorrow. The car has a six point bar already but this should stiffen things up a bit. A lot of heavy hitters are comming to this race and it looks like it's going to be the best one in a couple of years here.
