My chevelle is almost all ready to go, pictures will be soon to come, but i am stuck on installing the linkage on the shifter. How do you route the cable and hook it up to the tranny? Does anyone have any pictures? I have alot of extra cable here, the thing is like three feet long (stock red megashifter cable) and I only need about a foot. Do I wrap it around anything? Is there a bracket that holds the cable in line anywhere? I need help! Thanks in advance-

The directions should have showed you how to run but if you have none this is how it goes. From the shifter the cable goes down and to the right of the transmission. Form there you have bring it all the way around the rear of the trans to make a u shape, and then hook up the mounting brackets. Just make sure it doesn't bind or get in any tight bends. Directions can be found on B&M's web site too. Just take your time with it. I took me about three tries to finally get it right, and many adjustments to get it to shift right. But when its all said and done its alotta fun. Oh no that rhymed redface.gif . Seriously its a blast especially over a column shift. Good luck graemlins/thumbsup.gif
