: Opinions On My Motor Build-Up

I am just about ready to start assembling my motor and wanted to hear some opinions on my build-up. The car isn't a daily driver, it's just something fun to run at the drag strip and on the weekends to cruise in. Right now the rotating assembly is at the machine shop being balanced and the block is
being decked. So here is the setup:

454 + .060" = 468ci
2 Bolt Mains w/ ARP Main Studs
CAT 4340 Forged Internal Balanced Crankshaft
CAT 4340 Forged H-Beam Rods w/ 7/16" Rod Bolts
TRW Forged 12.5:1 Compression Pistons
Clevite 77 "H" Bearings
GM Windage Tray
Moroso Street/Strip Oil Pan (6qt. In Pan/1qt. In Filter)
Crane Solid Flat Tappet Cam #134771 - 272/280 Duration @ .050", .659"/.679" Lift, 110LSA
Comp Cams 10 Degree Titanium Retainers w/ Matching Locks
Comp Cams Pro Magnum Full Roller Rocker Arms
Crane Stud Girdle
Pro Topline 320cc Aluminum R-Port Heads (2.25/1.88 Valves)
Weiand Team G Intake
Holley 1050cfm Dominator
Aluminum Flywheel
Super T10 Wide Ratio 4 Speed
4.11 Gears
Hooker Header Side Pipes 2 1/8" Primaries Into 4" Collectors

At the strip I plan on shifting around 7000RPMs or so, which I don't think should be too much of a problem for this motor. So what kind of horsepower numbers would you expect this setup to possibly produce? Compression will be 12.5:1 and I plan on running 114 octane with the setup. I want to go with a solid roller I just don't have the funds and have to buy a bunch of other stuff to get the car ready for spring. Thanks.

What does the car weight it's going in to?

CAT rods & crank,,,,
Since we are not supposed to bash vendors I will not comment :D

The rest of the combo looks pretty good, only thing I would change is the intake to a Super Vic or a Merlin with your cam & compression & I think the headers & collectors are too big.

My understanding on the side pipes is you are going to lose a bunch of power over a good exhaust system if you are going to run the complete system with mufflers.

10secBu:
The car weighed about 3250 last year without me (add 150lbs for me) in it. I am switching front rims. I was running 15x8 steel Corvette Rally rims up front with 215/70/15 BF Radials...I am switching to 15x3.5 Centerline Autodrags with Mickey Thompson ET front runners. So whatever the weight savings is there plus switching to aluminum heads, aluminum flywheel and some misc. other weight savings to add up to around 100lbs lighter. I would imagine the car without me in it should be in the 3000-3050lb range.

The headers and collectors only come in that size for big block side pipes. I will be running open headers so the horsepower loss with the side pipes shouldn't be too bad ;) . What kind of horsepower can I expect from a setup like this?

Thanks.

Can you repeatedly shift a Super T10 at 7000 RPM?

Did it with a Muncie, the ST10 is even better. Why not???

Sting,
Along with what Mike said ... check the crank very thoroughly. Measure each journal in at least 8 places. Measure the snout to make sure you will ahve correct press fit for the damper. Measure everything on the rods. Measure everything again
