Hey , perusing the Competition Products catalog the other night for a cheap $$ cam recommendation, I ran across a special on Crane Gold rockers for BBC at $229.

If anyone is looking for roller rockers, ya can't beat that. Almost worth buying to stash at that price, huh?

" But honey, I'll need them EVENTUALLY! tongue.gif

Competition Products definately has some good deals, I bought my BB Harland Sharp Rockers for less than what Summit or Jeggs sells them for and picked them up with no shipping or handling charges. They have been really good with returns also, had a set of rings that were way off with wide end gaps and they took them back with no problems.

They have great deals on fine PVS rockers.

And they are really cheap on Crane Gold without gold rockers.. ;) And i prefer to use non andonized stuff.

Best price i seen is on Crane horizontal roller lifters for bigblock chevy. 179$ and on that youll have your % if you do some shopping there ;)

I run their cheaper Energizers. They're not the "lacking cosmetics" Crane's I see at CP for $189 are they? That's also a great deal. Who the heck cares if they're gold anodized?

Chose print catalog. Their web shop is worthless...

I purchased and returned the non anodized rockers last year. I had run a set a few years back, but the recent set I received had a pressed in bearing that was smaller than the Crane Golds clip retained bearing.

Sounds like the Energizer line then. $230 for Gold's is a good deal.

mc71454,
I have been using Crane's Blue Racer roller rockers (Which I believe are the same ones offered by Comp Prod)with the pressed in bearing for over a year now. I too, was a bit concerned initially regarding the absence of retaining clips, but so far I have had no problems.

427L88,
The Crane Energizers are cast aluminium.....these are extruded ones.
