What color is your stock water pump ?

I just painted my block orange, and bought a new stock water pump. It is plain steel right now. What color would look best...black, aluminum, orange ?

The car's not original, so I'm not too worried about that.

I usually paint them gray or black. I save the orange or blue for the block and valve covers.

Thanks for your quick replies. Sun is out, nice day to paint some little stuff outside. I was thinking orange also. I tried aluminum paint on my old one, but it just looked cheezy. Black was definitely the runner-up color.

Glad I wasn't too far out in left field.
