I can't thank Dan enough. :)

For the trip to the KC ACES Regional last weekend we had a back-up plan if I had trouble with my Chevelle, I could load it on Dan's trailer and drive his '65... my Chevelle didn't make it to the show due to some backordered parts not arriving in time, so I figured we were in the clear.

We drove down in my wife's Bonneville since no Chevelle was ready, and it gets the best mileage in our fleet. On the way home the alternator died. :( No parts stores were open since it was a Sunday, so we would have been screwed.

Dan was only an hour behind us, and his trailer saved us a couple nights expense in a Hotel, and lost wages from being stranded a few hundred miles from home. :hurray:

Yes, Short Bus to the rescue, Derek had to drive the 65, probably doesn't get driven enough anyway! I probaly would of left Derek by the road, but he has a nice wife with child and she looked tired pushing the car!

Anyway, I'm sure any of you guys would have done it and several people on this board have done as much or more for me already! Kind of what TC, Aces and maybe even life in general should be about!
