Does anyone know if a vacuum leak would cause there to be no adjustment when I turn the idle screw on the carb? I cannot get the car to idle below 1000rpm. Also would a vacuum leak cause the HC reading to go up at the emission station? I will pull the breather and pcv and see if it is sucking in.

Ok, just put a piece of paper over the breather hole and it stuck on like a magnet.
