They came off of an mid 90's 3500 series pick-up.

But Step and Cargo Vans did right up until they finally did away w/ the old L-48 engine design about 3 or 4 years ago if I remember right!!

Its a swirl port head almost indentical to a 193 except for the hardend ex seats and 3/8 diameter ex valves.

Definitely came off of a pick-up truck. Definitely was a 350. I know because I scarfed up the block. Says 350 right on it. It is a 2 bolt main with a one piece rear seal. The cam was a flat tappet hydraulic. It doesn't look like it has a provision for a mechanical fuel pump. I am thinking of building a 383 "spare" engine.
