Im wanting to fit P345/30-18's (BFG DR's) on a 18x12" rim on my 71 Chevelle. What mods will I have to do to make these fit? They are 26.2" tall, and the section area is 13.8". I already plan on running coil overs on the back, so the shock mount isnt an issue. Im doing a frame off and have to replace inner and outter wheel wells. I can also do a frame mod if needed. Anyone fit this wide of a tire on their Chevelle?

P.S. Not looking to do a back half, just need a little more room for these tires.

Thanks - Ron

The tires are wider than the wheelwells so you have to correct that- major work!

My '70 measures 13.75" from the quarter panel lip to the inner wheel well. Additional clearance can be gained by rolling the panel lip plus notching the frame and mini tubes. That might get you enough clearance.

Just a small step for a big stepper. :)

Might have to relocate the shocks and springs inboard as well...
