I would avoid them like the plague. I have heard numerous bad incidents from people on this board. I think Isky Red Zones are the best choice (they can be rebuilt). Those Comp lifters seem to fall apart pretty quick. I'd change them out.

Just check your lash religiously. Almost any impending failure will show itself in time to catch it. And yes... they have a pretty bad reputation.

Comp solids? Stay away. Far away. Especially from the Endure-X (also known as Explode-X or Endure-Nots.)

Best choices for "street friendly" solid rollers are Isky Red Zones and Crowers with the HIPPO option.

I have the endure-x in my car. So far over 5,000 plus miles. I have had no problems. (knock on wood) I bought mine after I started hearing about the problems. A friend of mine who was in a large speed shop contacted comp for me. He was told (on the sly) that the problems was mainly with big block lifter with over 480lbs of open pressure. You may want to change them just to be sure. Monte
